Research, wrote, and designed a coffee table book surrounding the overall theme of memory. I looked at the scientific facts behind memory, such as the anatomy of the brain as well as the psychological benefits of comfort objects when coping with grief and the importance of understanding how our mental health can affect memory.
I chose to use bright vibrant colours throughout the book to represent the joy of memories and nostalgia, while using the absence of colour to represent the idea of forgetting. The aim was to keep the content of the book easily digestible and light for people of any age, but aesthetically be appealing to young people specifically who might need more help understanding their mental health.
