As part of a module at my university, I created my own personal branding for myself as a designer to help market myself to design agencies and clients. I chose a delicate leaf design, as I love nature and the colour green. I chose to use G.F.Smith's Plike Green paper as the basis for colour and paper, as ever since starting graphic design I have wanted to use it in a project. What better than for my own personal branding!
I chose silver foiling to contrast the smooth texture of the paper and it's dark colour, and paired this with the font Caviar Dreams for my logo, and Effra CC for my secondary type. My brand pattern consists of the original single leaf drawing flipped and moved up, repeating to create a lovely pattern. I chose to include a bookmark as an extra asset in my CV mailers, as I have a personal love of reading and wanted to share this with potential employers and clients.
